-------- -------- --------
- Originally designed for use on externally heated/cooled tanks and vessels. Other uses include heat exchanged surfaces, clamp-on coils, instrumentation temperature control, electrical heating tape, and aluminum surfaces. Can be easily removed and will withstand expansion and contraction cycles.
- Application: By hand trowel or pumping methods. Surface does not have to be rust free. However, previously corroded surfaces should be evaluated before applying TRACIT cements. Once applied, these non-hardening mastics act as a corrosive barrier. Cement can be warmed to 75°F for easier application. Apply a layer approximately 1/8" thick. When used on plate coils, excess will ooze out sides while leaving a coating between coil and tank to fill air voids.
- Curing: None required.
- Minimum temperature for application: 5°F
- Maximum usage temperature limits: 375°F (191°C)
- Minimum usage temperature limits: -116°F (-80°C)
- Thermal conductivity: 45-55 BTU in/hr/sq. ft°F
- U range: 20-40 BTU/hr sq. ft°F
- Shelf life: 3-5 years
- Net weight: 12 lbs/gal.
